Homestyle Fresh Cheese is a young cheese that is creamy in texture and has a milky fresh taste. It is most delicious when fresh. This is a very traditional cheese that is commonly used in Italian quiches such as Pizza Ripiena or Pizza Rustica, especially at Easter time.
We also find it sometimes used in South American dishes as it is reminiscent of “queso fresco.”
