Our Traditional Haloumi in Brine is made with cows milk and is stored in its natural cooking brine. The cheese is pale yellow with a distinctive layered texture. It is similar to mozzarella, and has a salty flavour. Haloumi has a high melting point, and so can easily be fried or grilled. It also has that distinctive squeaky texture that haloumi is famous for. Best served with a lamb salad or with a squeeze of lemon.
