Caprese Ciabatta Sandwich

Fresh is best! The key to a good sandwich is fresh ingredients.




100g Traditional Bocconcini
1 fresh ciabatta roll
1 small tomato
drizzle sticky balsamic
basil leaves
handful rocket
salt and pepper to taste


1 Slice Ciabatta roll horizontally to form a top and bottom half.
2 Cut three Traditional-sized bocconcini balls into 50cent sized slices. Slice a small tomato into three or four slices. Layer the cheese and tomatoes in the bread roll.
3 Drizzle the sticky balsamic across the cheese and tomatoes.
4 Top the cheese and tomatoes with basil and rocket leaves. Season to taste and place the top half of the bread onto the toppings. Serve fresh or grilled if preferred!
