250g | Mozzarella Ball |
100g | Grated Parmesan Tub |
1.25kg | white potatoes (brushed) |
300ml | thickened cream |
40g | butter |
2 x | garlic cloves |
pinch of garlic pepper | |

1 | Wash and peel your potatoes and finely slice them by using a sharp knife or a mandolin. |
2 | Crush a whole garlic clove. Pour cream into a saucepan, drop in the crushed clove of garlic and place onto a stove stop until it becomes to simmer. Remove from the heat and add in 2/3 of your butter. |
3 | Season potato slices with salt and garlic pepper. Rub your baking dish with another clove of garlic and the remaining butter. Layer potatoes in the baking dish, pour over with the cream and place into preheated oven and bake at 180°C for 45 minutes. |
4 | Slice mozzarella and cover your potato bake with it, followed by fine grated parmesan. Place the dish back into oven for another 8-10 minutes until golden on top. Serve as a side with your main meal or with fresh salad, vegetables to enjoy on its own. |
